Recognized for its diverse assortment of exceptional lifestyle designs, the Tommy Bahama Home has expanded its outdoor living collections with the addition of — Marimba and Misty Garden — two very different, yet equally compelling design aesthetics that appeal to different tastes.
Marimba offers an adventurous take on safari, with the signature piece being a statement interpretation of the iconic peacock chair. Designs blend aluminum frames with a sophisticated weave of all-weather wicker in a rich Obsidian finish with soft gold accents. The design theme features an intersecting ring pattern that accentuates the soft curves in each silhouette. The collection includes deep seating, large and small scale dining, occasional, accents and a fire pit. Custom tops on the occasional tables feature weather-resistant white crystal stone, offering an elegant contrast to the Obsidian finish.
There are two fabric color stories highlighted in the presentation. The first is a dramatic red, black and white palette featuring a zebra print, balanced stripe, flame stitch, and menswear houndstooth design. The second is a soft palette of camel, onyx and cream, featuring tone-on-tone skins, paisley, geometric, and textural patterns.
Misty Garden features graceful designs in cast aluminum, finished in a soft ivory tone, drawing inspiration from the elegant look of French and English botanical gardens. Flowing lines complement a classic quatrefoil pattern, which anchors the design theme. The collection includes deep seating, large and small scale dining and a broad assortment of occasional and accent items. In addition to glass tops, Misty Garden features porcelain tops with a natural marbled pattern in ivory and gold. The porcelain is crack, mold and temperature resistant, and can be cleaned like glass for an exceptional look. Two textile palettes are being featured. The first is white, cream and soft taupe, with subtle patterns like tonal paisleys, damasks, strie stripes and textural plains. The second incorporates a pleasing palette of celadon and blue, layered with whites, creams and taupes.
More and more, people who enjoy fine living have a particular willingness to create outdoor spaces that often rivals their inclination to invest in the interior of their home. These latest collections from Tommy Bahama Home take quality craftsmanship, exceptional style, and comfort to the great outdoors.
