Price held a press conference in the recently finished development, Mareazul (also in Grand Coral), to discuss the progress and answer questions. He informed the audience that he and his team selected Playa del Carmen due to the healthy ongoing growth the area is showing as an upscale tourism destination and community for retirees.
These quality Playa del Carmen condos have been advancing well with sales, and are expected to be completed during 2012. The development will include a club house, with a fitness center, a spa, tennis courts, bars and restaurants. The Nick Price Residences include 3 buildings, 4 stories each for a total of 123 residences with a variety of sizes, from 1 to 3 bedrooms. 2 bedroom units start around $300,000 USD, with a 15% discount, and developer financing available.

As Nick Price’s other courses, this one is very unique and integrates well with the Grand Coral concept, placing high importance on respect for the environment and natural vegetation. At the time of the press conference, 10 holes were very near completion, and the other 8 were in earlier stages of construction. The course is expected to be completed between the spring and late summer of 2011.
