Royal Blues Hotel is pleased to announce its September 15th debut on the shore of Florida’s Gold Coast. With 12 luxuriously appointed rooms, a wine lounge and restaurant offering ‘Cuisine-du-Monde’, this beachfront boutique hotel provides the ultimate coastal escape, just steps from the white sands of Deerfield Beach and in the heart of this classic American town.

Located 45 minutes north of Miami, Royal Blues Hotel was envisioned and created by Film/Broadway Producer Edward Walson, who seeks to share his passions for art, wine, design, and fine dining through a luxury hotel in a classic coastal destination. Mr. Walson chose Deerfield Beach for its timeless qualities of 1960’s surf culture, low rise building landscape and its devotion to natural beauty. Boasting four different types of accommodations with uninterrupted ocean views, each accommodation is lushly outfitted in natural marble, leather and teak wood – there are no synthetic materials used in any design products. The design techniques found in the rooms are meant to be evocative of the clean lines of a yacht, and were created utilizing glass and metal construction techniques developed by shipbuilders and the hotel architect, West Palm Beach based-Jorge Garcia. Each room has original works of art chosen personally from the owner’s private collection, and floor to ceiling glass sliding doors that lead to a private balcony.

Royal Blues Hotel offers guests a fine dining experience with its striking Chanson restaurant. Nestled next to windows that deliver an oceanic panorama, Chanson restaurant combines chic and sophisticated decorations alongside original works of art. The centerpiece of the restaurant is a saltwater aquarium mounted above diners. The aquarium’s edges reach the pool outside on the terrace and the wine lounge inside, offering swimmers a chance to dive underwater and view the tropical fish up close, while diners in the restaurant can gaze upwards at the same sea life from the inside. Michelin star trained from New York to Tokyo Executive Chef Kei Kurobe heads this elegant and inviting restaurant with a menu that celebrates the best of local ingredients from Florida’s very own coast and cold water seafood. The adjacent wine lounge offers a daily debut tasting menu of tapas to perfectly pair with craft wines selected from a remarkable wine list.

This quiet and comfortable town allows visitors to experience the beautiful beaches of South Florida without the chaos and crowds of Miami. Deerfield Beach is Blue Wave certified – awarded for excellent standards in clean water, safety, beach condition, and turtle habitat conservation. An as of yet untapped front of American culture, the promenade facing the beach is filled with quaint restaurants, al fresco dining options, and live music. The beach offers fantastic surfing and boating opportunities, with world class fishing available at the nearby International Fishing Pier (designed by the same architect of Royal Blues). The nearby Morikami Japanese Gardens and Museum and Boca Raton Museum of Art offer artistic masterpieces, while ecological wonders abound with the largest butterfly park in the world, Butterfly World, and the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, where hundreds of species are rehabilitated and studied. Finally, adventurous types will be pleased to learn that nearby Quiet Waters Park offers 430 acres for hiking, fishing, a skate park, and the new-to-the-US phenomenon of cable skiing. Golfing, tennis, and hiking are also available. royalblueshotel.com
