The penthouse carries with it an understated nautical atmosphere with midcentury flair. Spanning 1,495 square feet, the spacious room features walnut wood flooring that eventually gives way to a private outdoor sun deck. This luxurious outdoor space was designed with private relaxation in mind, from the weathered teak furniture to the throw pillows, the festive lanterns to the potted plants. With their booking, penthouse guests will also receive complimentary poolside cabana access in the event they want to be closer to the action downstairs.
South Beach’s seaside influence can be felt throughout the penthouse. The kitchenette features white-washed wicker details and a white quartz dining room table. The master suite comes complete with lofty 16-foot ceilings, ocean-blue walls, a soaking tub in the bathroom, and a king-size bed with natural rattan headboard. For those in need of additional sleeping quarters, the light-filled living room and den doubles as a second room: the comfortable sectional couch can be converted to a queen-size bed and closed off by two pocket doors for privacy.
Beyond the penthouse, a wooden walkway leads to stairs guiding guests to Nautilus’ new oceanfront SIXTY Suites. While every suite is outfitted with a king-size bed and full bathroom, each suite is unique in its design, catering to the individual needs of each guest. In one, for example, you’ll find a Jacuzzi tub. In another, a half kitchen with wine fridge and other food-focused amenities. Guests of the SIXTY Suites, as well as the penthouse, have private access to the rooftop terrace, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the ocean, lounge chairs for sunning, and plenty of comfortable seating. The terrace can also be rented out for private events.
