Luxury Wellness Retreat on Tuscan Island
Luxury villa specialists The Thinking Traveller will host two six-night, full-immersion experiences for wellbeing enthusiasts in partnership with revered wellness institution, Ricari Studios from September 18-24, 2022, and September 25 – October 1, 2022. The retreats will be held at one of The Thinking Traveller’s exclusive villas, Forte San Giorgio, a luxuriously restored 16th century fortress on the Tuscan island of Capraia. The thoughtful program includes Ricari’s signature treatments, private and group fitness sessions with top trainers, hikes though the beautiful nature of Capraia, sea swimming, boat trips, sunrise meditation, massage treatments, plus exceptional Italian dining experiences, aperitivo time, and a wine tasting (life is all about balance, after all!). Each guest will receive three Ricari treatments during the six-day retreat.
Guests will stay at the 11-bedroomed Forte San Giorgio, which occupies a stunning panoramic position on the Tuscan island of Capraia, where commanding views take in vast swathes of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Italian mainland, and the islands of Elba and Monte Cristo. The villa’s accommodation is spread over a series of separate wings on multiple levels and the grounds feature two spectacular infinity pools, two panoramic al fresco dining terraces, a bar, cinema room, a shady open-air summer room, plus an impressive yoga studio.
