LaCantina Doors, the first company to establish manufacturing operations dedicated to Open Space products, recently expanded by moving its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations into a new state-of-the-art 140,000 square-foot facility in Oceanside, California.
Approximately twice the size of its previous space, the new LaCantina headquarters includes space for manufacturing, warehousing, research & development, sales, marketing and customer service support. The new facility will allow LaCantina to meet the ever-growing demand for the company’s innovative folding, multi slide and swing door and window systems.
The new facility provides room for future growth and new product lines. “The production area incorporates lean manufacturing principals and was designed with optimal efficient space planning, resulting in shorter lead times, better quality, more consistency and a safer, healthier work environment,” stated John Conway, newly-appointed Director of Operations for LaCantina Doors.
“As our fifth facility, this is our most robust and sophisticated yet with 100% of operations dedicated to designing and manufacturing the most innovative open space products in the market,” adds Lee Maughan, General Manager and Vice President for LaCantina Doors.
In addition, the new facility will feature an expanded showroom, which is currently being designed. “We are very excited about our new space,” said Lee Maughan. “With an expanded showroom, our customers will be able to experience our comprehensive range of innovative door and window solutions in a greater variety of configurations and material options and receive expert consultation whilst viewing and learning about our products.”
The company’s new state-of-the-art facility continues LaCantina’s well-deserved reputation as an industry leader of product innovation and manufacturing excellence.
