Yachting Partners International is delighted to welcome the 47.4-meter (155.7 feet) GWEILO to the sales fleet, offered for sale at €6,100,000. GWEILO is an elegant two-masted wooden schooner sailing yacht built in 2009. Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, GWEILO was built in cold molded epoxied wood by Turkish yard Mengi-Yay and delivered in classical lines, a traditional style rig, and a long keel make her very comfortable under sail.
Her interior is made up of dark paneled woods with rich fabrics and accommodates up to eight guests in three cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, VIP suite, and a twin with two Pullman berths. All cabins feature entertainment centers, television screens, and en suite shower facilities. The deck spaces are large with sun loungers for relaxing, and there is a spacious cockpit dining area with an expandable table that can comfortably seat up to nine people.
Under power, a single 558hp Caterpillar diesel engine gives GWEILO a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. She is fully RINA classified and is also surveyed to LY2 compliance under the Cayman Island Flag. Well maintained and kept in very good condition, GWEILO also benefits from brand new sails.
