Palmer Johnson calls its new 210-footer a “game-changer,” and judging from a few of the tri-deck yacht’s features, it’s not exaggerating. Take the fold-down platform in the master suite, forward on the main deck. This balcony over the sea lets you enjoy a morning cup of coffee or simply take in the view. The master stateroom also includes four large, round windows to each side, a departure from the more traditional square panes, complementing the overall curvy profile. It’s all courtesy of the Italian firm Nuvolari & Lenard, renowned for incorporating flowing, graceful lines into a number of yachts, including other Palmer Johnsons from 120 to 170 feet long. Something else that Nuvolari & Lenard and Palmer Johnson wanted to emphasize: relaxation. That’s why there are two full-size pools—no mere hot tubs—on deck, one forward and one aft. For the ultimate in casual living, the aft portion of the main deck can become part of a “beach club,” thereby moving the formal dining room up to the second deck. The four guest staterooms on the lower deck are just steps away from a gym and sauna. The first 210 is already under contract, being launched next year.
