Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort unveils an adults-only hotel.

Just 20 minutes north of Punta Cana’s international airport, Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort recently completed a $330 million transformation, unveiling the adults-only Barceló Bávaro Beach hotel. Complete with renovated accommodations, a redesigned lobby and Club Premium lounge, two vibrant bars, three international restaurants, and new pool areas, the renovated hotel was specifically redesigned with relaxation and entertainment in mind.

Located in the easternmost province of the Dominican Republic in Punta Cana, Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort’s accommodations feature luxurious in-room amenities, such as rain-style showers and plush bathrobes, and are equipped with in-room entertainment.

Three internationally inspired restaurants tempt guests’ palates with a wide range of offerings, from the à la carte international Chez Gourmet to the Caribbean buffet restaurant and the beachfront La Brisa. In addition to the on-site amenities offered at the secluded Barceló Bávaro Beach, guests are also permitted access to the entertainment options at Barceló Bavaró Palace Deluxe, including a championship 18-hole golf course designed by P.B. Dye, a 16-store shopping promenade, and a 24-hour sports bar and casino.
