Caspi International, Inc. has begun presales for a new 14-story oceanfront condominium tower in Costa Rica. The $120 million property, Genesis Puntarenas, will be Costa Rica’s first all-glass, multifamily residential building.Its floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls and expansive, private, all-glass terraces will allow homeowners to incorporate the country’s lush landscape into their living space. The development of Genesis Puntarenas is timed to coincide with a surge of development activity on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast that has pushed the country up the list of favored travel and retirement destinations for Americans.
Michael Caspi, the president of Caspi International Inc. says that Genesis Puntarenas offers investors the chance to capitalize on one of the hottest real estate markets in the world today and the overall surge in ecotourism.
The building, which is scheduled for completion in mid-2011, will feature 47 living units ranging in price from $473,000 to $3.3 million. Each of these units will showcase top-of-the line treatments including marble floors, quartz countertops, and brand-name stainless steel appliances, as well as floor-to-ceiling retractable glass doors that allow for unobstructed oceanfront and mountainside views.
The property’s other amenities include a bi-level fitness center and an infinity pool with a swim-up bar, as well as an onsite restaurant, lounge, wine cellar, cigar parlor, and business center. Genesis Puntarenas will also feature a 68,459-square-foot luxury penthouse, the world’s largest. This sprawling 10-bedroom, 14-bathroom space features three stories of living space and includes a private helipad, a private swimming pool, and tennis court.
